I’ve always been drawn to the creative side of things—art, theater, and the way a camera can capture a specific mood. I started taking photography seriously in my early twenties and haven’t really put the camera down since. Over the last thirty years, that path has taken me everywhere from the sidelines of professional sports and celebrity concerts to managing national portrait programs. My favorite work, however, has always been the more experimental art shows where I can really play with a concept.
About ten years into my photography career, I started doing makeup for my clients. That curiosity led me to esthetics school, where I unexpectedly found a much deeper interest in the science of skincare. I eventually transitioned into education, serving as an Esthetics Instructor and later a Program Director, all while maintaining my photography practice. Moving between the clinical world of skin and the creative world of the lens has given me a unique perspective on how we define beauty.
I’m a Carolina native with a deep appreciation for the contrast in things. Whether I’m working on a clinical skincare plan or a conceptual fashion shoot, my goal is to provide an experience that feels professional, welcoming, and a little bit luxurious.
